Wisma Antik has been sourcing eclectic pieces of sculptural art in Southeast Asia for over 28 years. A number of early pieces came from the early previous period the ”Srivijaya Period 7th century”. From the Srivijaya centers of power the “Classical Period 7th-13th century” was created. The bronze and gold sculptural art of this period was possibly the greatest sculptural art ever produced by any of the people in Asia.
Many items over the years were sourced by Wisma Antik including the ones on this web site have ended up in museums and private collections around the world.Most of the bronze and gold gilded pieces are a one only piece.They were made to order by craftsmen in their local villages for travelers and local Buddhist and Hindu monks traveling throughout Asia.
